The idea was to connect traditional Lithuanian piece of literature with Netspeak (*online lexicon*) symbols. New alternative methods of teaching were created in a form of the game to help students understanding and seeing into the school required reading literature. In view of the Z-generation characteristics I chose multiple platforms to implement this project.
Research was made and designed in the stylistic of Netspeak using emoji - the most popular online lexicon objects. Place of the text in this publication was chosen with reference to Z-generation characteristics. Representatives of this generation can hardly follow the order of a text that most of the people used to read. Their reading habits are influenced by internet tabs system

After research I chose one of the most popular Lithuanian literature author Antanas Baranauskas and translated his novel "Anykščių šilelis" (eng. The Forest of Anykščiai) into emoji language
First page of the book asks to guess what's hiding under the emoji icon. If imagination does not working properly, answers are in the end of a book

Sets of magnets, consisting of Lithuanian pieces of literature translated in shot into emoji. These sets consists of a number of magnets which you can arrange and interpret the story as you wish

In the website www.emojiskaitiniai.lt there is a possibility to write any text by yourself and in the same time it is translated into emoji on the right side of the screen. You can choose text from those which are given as well and see how it looks in language of Netspeak.
